I worked from home today since I didn't have any meetings and many people weren't going to be in the office yesterday. I also wanted to ensure that I could be around so Woody could wait as long as possible to tell me he needs to go outside (okay, I actually was ensuring that I could wait as long as possible before taking Woody outside). When he was ready, this was the scene: It might be hard to tell, but both of us are looking at each other reluctantly because we know what awaits.
Speaking of cold weather, the other day I wrote about some tips to help your dog stay warm and safe in the cold. One of those tips was added indoor play time. My favorite animal helpers at The Behavior Clinic posted a great video on their Facebook page showing an example of a training game to play with your dog. All you need is some sort of "base," lots of training treats, a clicker (although, I just make the clicking sound with my tongue and it works just fine) and patience.

I'm so thankful that we don't have the cold weather that is happening in other states. It's cold here, but one of our news stations has this cool segment called "it could be worst" and then they show other areas of the country. That shuts us up.
